He worked in the Steel Authority of India for more than 37 years in various capacities at Integrated Steel Plants of SAIL in the Management services divisions of steel plants and the Central Marketing Organization of SAIL.
Industrial and Management services – Work and Motion studies , System improvement, Inventory control, Cost control etc ref to Raw material handling ,Coke ovens, Sinter plants ,Blast furnace, Steel Melting shops, Hot strip Mill, Cold rolling Mill, Dispatch of finish products etc.
Marketing – Sales and marketing of iron and steel products including market research, pricing ,logistics and ware housing operations, developments and tendering, re structuring of marketing organization etc.
